General Exercise Goals Ensure readiness to respond to a major oil spill in Prince William Sound Verify the information in the PWS Tanker Oil Discharge Prevention and Contingency Plan Provide a training opportunity for Industry, Tribal, Federal, State, and Local response community

2015 Exercise Planning Planning team: BP, ATC, APSC/SERVS, ADEC, USCG, ARRT, PWSRCAC, TRG Objectives Scenario Start time (hour 48) Schedule: September (training on September 28) June 2015: 3-day event at SERVs to develop hours 0-48 Task force assignments Sensitive area protection Resources at risk UC decisions Permitting

Why hour 48? Exercises often start at hour zero and go until transition 2013 and 2014 exercises focused the scenario on Realistic Maximum Response Operating Limitations (RMROL) Objectives on sensitive area protection as the impacted area increases Objectives focusing on out-of-region resources Focus on use of the PWSSACP plan
