The basics of the Aztecs Houses were made of sun-dried bricks and wealthy people can make houses out of stone The poor however, had to live in a hut with thatched roof and limited furniture. For clothing Aztecs in upper class could wear feathers which also showed they’re status or rank. Common people couldn’t wear feathers or carry feather fans if they did they would be killed

Education If the Aztecs wanted to build a great city they would need many types of workers. They needed traders, engineers, etc Attendance at school was mandatory and forced to go to school People who attended school were boys, girls and slaves This was the only in the world at that time in history to have free school everyone must have had an education

Daily life Aztecs loved to show their softer side by by writing poetry most of their poems were about heroic people and religious stories Slaves that were captured ended up being an Aztec In schools, Aztecs were supposed to be polite as they were also learned in school Their were many sports the Aztecs played but the main one was the Aztec ball game

The Incas The Incas lived in Cuzco,Mexico Their empire was 2,500 miles and 500 miles wide Francisco Pizarro, a Spanish invader and many others fought the Incas in war. After a series of fierce battles, the Incas were defeated in 1531.

Civilization The government was responsible for taking care of the people, including the poor, the sick, and the elderly. The government built roads and bridges and aqueducts to carry water to the people. There was almost no crime in the Inca Empire. Inca laws were very, very, deadly.

Punishment If you insulted an Inca or murdered and Inca you were thrown off a cliff If you lived through your punishment, you were classified as a criminal, and no one would like to be around you cause you were a ward of the Inca state Inca punishments were very hurtful and were meant to kill
