Summary

Is it possible to be able to eat all the bad food you want, and have it removed pain-free with no catch?

Exposition: Initial characters- Deb and Trinja Initial setting- the mall, the mall parking lot Initial action- at the mall when they find the Swoodies store

Rising Action-  1. Deb and Trinja decide to go into the store

Rising Action-  2. Everywhere in the store, the story says that it is all 100% FREE

Rising Action-  3. Trinja convinces Deb that it would be okay to try one

Rising Action-  4. They try one and it is the best thing that they have ever had

Climax When everybody in town notices that they have been gaining lots of weight, they start complaining and don't know what to do.

Climax Before they know it, there is a "slimmer" machine ready for them in the parking lot. The slimmer would take an unwanted body fat off of you harm free for only 25 yen/pound removed. All that they had to do was pay, and get a little blue dot on their arm/wrist.

Falling Action While nobody in town finds anything strange about these machines, Deb's little brother Trevor has his own theory. He says…

Falling Action “Suppose the Swoodies and the slimmer's are run by aliens in outer space, from lots farther than we have been able to go. Maybe they have big starships posted around earth, and they are gathering up energy from human fat from the Slimmers. Maybe the Swoodies are made so that people will get fat quicker, so that there will be more to harvest through the slimmer machines. Then, they will take the fat back to their planet and use it as fuel."

Science Fiction? Some key points that make this story science fiction are…  Aliens have a role in the story.  There are futuristic references and robots.
