Treasurer’s Report

Income We are ahead of budget for income but Pledge Offerings and Special Gifts are lagging New Income categories: –Scrip Program Income –Shows gross receipts Seasonal income items skew the total

Expenses We are doing a good job of being as frugal with our expenses as our budget demands –Example is building maintenance New Income categories: –Scrip Program Expenses – cost of cards –Understated because an invoice not received Some expenses not paid yet – Corn Fest

Expenses (continued) Bad News: We are still running behind on our contribution to the Diocese –Diocesan Assessment: CURRENT –Clergy Package: $27,529 behind Good News: The rate has slowed and we should be able to make some significant payments in the coming months

Balance Sheet Assets –New current asset: Scrip Program Checking –Intend to keep about $1,000 in account –Current balance does not include latest invoice on 9/2/09 of $908 –Money Market has been renamed “equity funds” to acknowledge some level of equity Liabilities –No changes other than short term

Balance Sheet (continued) Equity –Some funds overspent but we are in better shape than last quarter –Hospitality Fund could use some help
