Crooms Robotics New initiative – STEM education in action! (20 student members and growing!) Goal: Inspire students to pursue careers in STEM! Nov VEX competiton – sponsored by Northrup Grumman – Judges award for “Most Dedicated to Competition” for ROOKIE TEAM! Next challenge  Jan, 2012 – FIRST Robotics competiton – sponsored by JCPenney (sponsoring entrance fee and basic robot kit) Immediate needs ! -$5000 for robot building materials and supplies (9- week build- time for FIRST Robotics competition begins January 12, 2012) - Mentors for engineering design, competition strategy, machining, entreprenureship.
