Lemelson MIT Program, Chocolate Chip Cookie, 5/10/10, The chocolate chip cookie is a delicious treat to eat.

The chocolate chip cookie is made with semi-sweet chocolate chips or morsels and creamy dough. The recipe for the chocolate chip cookie was published in many different newspapers, including the Boston newspaper for its delicious taste. This little treat is a very popular food throughout the US. The chocolate chip cookie was included in the “Chocolate Chip” history for its wonderful impact on humans.

In the year of 1924, Ruth Wakefield graduated from Framingham State Normal School Department of Household Arts. Later on, she worked with Andrew Nestle to create a cookie company called Toll House Cookies. A favorite recipe of Ruth Wakefield’s is the Butter Drop Do cookie. Many cooking books were published with some of her famous recipes. One of them was called Ruth Wakefield’s Recipes. In 1977, Ruth Wakefield died. A little while later, in 1977, her cookie house burned down on New Year’s Eve.
