They bought 1 lb. of butter, 5 lbs. of sugar, 5 lbs. of flour, and one dozen eggs. Their total came to $6.23. John gave the cashier a $10.00 bill and got $3.77 back. They left the store at 2:30PM and baked sugar cookies with green sprinkles.
