Location Application for Clients in a Mobile-IP Environment Project team: Rinat Gotsulsky Oz Barzilay Vitaly Khait Guy Alster

The Goal Develop GPS location client-server application

Project description

The project divided into 2 parts: part 1: - Mobile client application: Sends GPS location to server. GUI enables modification of server connection settings profile. - Server application: Manages database of clients: location history and status. Web components enable visualization of client’s geographical locations and different statistics.

part 2: Optimization of message transmission: Minimize overhead of location messages. This goal could be achieved by piggybacking the location data onto existing data messages.
