Forum on School and Long-Term Disaster Recovery Emergency Preparedness Plan California Education Code, Sections (The Katz Act), Section 40041, Requires that a school site disaster plan outline roles, responsibilities, and procedures for students and staff. It also requires that the school site emergency management organization structure comply with SEMS, Title 19 Section 2400, and be ready for implementation at all times.

Mitigation Mitigation for future disasters plays an important part in the recovery process. Funds available to Districts to allow them to incorporate Long Term Recovery features into their facilities. Forum on School and Long-Term Disaster Recovery
