Constitutional Amendments 1. (1791) Freedom of religion, speech, press, peaceable assembly, petition government. 2. (1791) right to bear arms/weapons rights. 3. (1791) quartering of soldiers/housing soldiers in private homes. 4. (1791) rights with search and seizure. 5. (1791) Double jeopardy; witness against yourself; just compensation for seized property. 6. (1791) right to speedy trial, to be told your charge, to know your accuser, to have a lawyer. 7. (1791) Right to trial by jury in civil case. 8. (1791) no excessive bail; no cruel and unusual punishment. 9. (1791) rights reserved to the people. 10. (1791) Implied rights to states and the people. (First 10 Amendments are known as the Bill of Rights)
