Reason 1 Houses The first reason that I am proud to be an American is my house because in some countries people have to live in boxes and on streets. If they did have houses they wouldn’t get to pick which one they want.I am glad that there are charities to give people money to be able to live in houses. I feel sorry for all of the people who don’t have houses because when it’s wet or cold they don’t even have a blanket

Reason 2 Food The second reason I am proud to be an American. I’m thankful that I can sit at a table and have a decent meal. Some people have to work all day and hardly afford any thing to eat. I am also thankful that I can live in this wonderful country and not have to worry about having to starve. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have to starve.

Reason 3: Holidays The third reason that I am proud to be an American is because I can have fun and enjoy the holidays but some people can’t because it’s against their religion. I am also thankful for being able to get together with family an have fun and exchange gifts. Their life must be hard.

Conclusion These are three reasons why I am proud to be an American.
