The African Rainforest

What is the name of the tribe that lives in the rainforest? Describe some of their customs.  The Pygmies is the name of the tribe that live in the rainforest. They are hunter- gatherers and the depend on the ecological ways of the rainforest environment.

List and describe four different animals.  The black colobus monkey is a type of monkey; you may know him as zaboomaphoo.  The elephant has two tusks and weighs about thee tons!!!  The gorilla is a relative of the monkey. The average rainfall is about 63 to 79 inches of rain each year, more than enough rain to guarantee rainforest growth. So grab your umbrella and head to the rainforest for a great time.

Scientists have identified just 10% of the Cape floral living in the Congo rainforest. The oil palm is used for making goods ranging from iron plates and lubricating grease to chocolate, candles to soap. Mahogany is one of the most commercially popular woods from the African rainforest.
