Title I provides financial assistance to schools with high numbers or percentages of socio-economically challenged students At Perry High Title I funds are used to ensure that ALL students meet challenging state academic standards

 Administrators  Teachers  Central office personnel  Parents  Community members

 Beginning in schools transitioned from AYP to the CCRPI (College and Career Ready Performance Index).  Under the ESEA Waiver  There is no school choice  Title 1 Schools may be identified as Priority or Focus Schools where they will receive additional support/interventions for 3 years.

 Funded a Parent Involvement Coordinator to help assist parents and students  Funded a paraprofessional to assist the Interventions for at-risk students  Funded a full-time and a part-time Achievement Specialist to assist students with staying on track to graduate and assist teachers with data analysis

Provided Smart Interactive Whiteboards for classrooms Provided Calculators for testing and math classes Provided professional development opportunities for teachers Provided additional computer labs Provided Benchmark data link machines to allow teachers to analyze student data Supplemental technology such as laptops, Ipads, and Ipad minis to support students with “Bring Your Own Device” lessons

 Parent Involvement  Maintain an Inventory of purchased items  Supplement Instruction  Provide credentials for Staff  Hold an annual meeting for Parents

Become a member of the Parent Action Team (PAT) lead by our Parent Involvement Coordinator: Traci Williams The first Meeting will be: September 5:30 PHS Media Center

 Discuss the Parent Satisfaction Survey  Review the 1-year Action plan  Discuss Parent Involvement

 Student, Teacher and Parent Compact  Right to Request Teacher Qualification  Highly Qualified Status of Staff  Parent Involvement Plan  Parent Information Nights through out the school year for each grade level
