How to be a “Saintly” Library Student St. Louis Catholic High School Landry Library 2011

Landry Library Library Hours: 7:10 AM until 3:30 PM open until 5 PM two days per week. No food or drink (includes water, gum, and candy). This rule is still in effect before and after school. Never remove any library material from the library without checking it out with the librarian. Do not loan anything checked out in your name to a friend. You are held responsible for that material until it is returned.

Reference materials checked out overnight are due back in the library by 7:50 AM the next school day. A fine of 25 cents a school period will be charged until it is returned. Please return any library book found on campus. Don’t forget to watch the Library Superhero video!

Things to Remember: A call number is the identification of the book that enables you to find it in the library. It is located on the spine of the book. Non-fiction books have a call number that contains numerals. They are in numeric order on the shelf.

More Things to Remember: Fiction books are in alphabetical order by the author’s last name. If you see a book without a call number it is more than likely a fiction book. Ignore the words, A, An, or The, at the beginning of a title.
