Gender & Gender Inequality Agenda Objective To understand contemporary theories of gender and gender inequality. Schedule: Introduction Presentation Preparation Presentations! Homework: Research Paper Analysis Memo Due: Friday 1/4 Final Research Paper Due: Tuesday 1/15

Gender and Gender Inequality This unit we will be consider with the questions: What is gender? How are beliefs about gender used to shape inequality in institutions (in particular the family and the workplace)? To answer these questions you will work in groups and design and deliver original presentations on contemporary sociology of gender!
