Presentation transcript:

A Modern-Day Parable The Lost Dog by Heidi Rabe

Suppose a boy has a dog. While they are out for a walk, the dog chases a cat. The boy loses his grip on the dog’s leash and the dog runs away.

Wouldn’t the boy look down every street in search of his dog?

Wouldn’t he post signs on every tree and bulletin board?

And when the boy finds his dog, he hugs it and carries it home. Then he calls his family and friends and says to them, “Let’s celebrate. I have found my lost dog!”

I tell you that there will be more celebrating in heaven over one person who accepts Jesus into his or her heart.
