Using Audacity Make sure your input is set to microphone If you’re recording and your voice doesn’t seem to be picking up, turn up the input volume

Export as MP3 or Project File Like music files, a file exported as an MP3 will open in a media player, such as Windows Media Player. A file exported as a project file will open in Audacity. If you need to edit or work on your recording later, save it this way.
