Learning & Acquisition Aysenur Kocaslan Zirve University Educatıon Faculty Preschool Teaching

What is learning? Learning is the lifelong process of transforming information and experience into knowledge, skills, behaviors, and attitudes. WHAT IS ACQUISITION ? Acquisition means something acquired.

What is learning? Lifelong Taking İnterest Asking Questions Discussion and İnquiry Hand-on Demonstrating and Understanding

language learning The concept of language learning is linked to the traditional approach to the study of languages. The form is greater importance than communication. The teacher is an authority figure and the participation of the student is predominantly passive.

Language acquisition Language acquisition refers to the process of natural assimilation and subconscious learning. The acquisition approach praises the communicative act and develops self- confidence in the learner.

What is the interrelationship between learning and acquisition LEARNING is important in the mastering of a language. The student needs to learn grammar, vocabulary, and expressions to be able to speak correctly. ACQUISITION of the language is essential to be able to use it in practical situations.

One of them is not enough to speak correctly.. Students cannot use their knowledge in conversation. Students cannot speak grammatically correct a language.

The best way is... Students can speak correctly and functionally... Students can acquire conversational abilities rapidly and effectively.
