Why Web 2.0? District Librarians trained on 23 things.23 things – Based on Ms. Bower’s 43 things. Based on Ms. Bower’s 43 things Web 2.0 is the software application movement.

How do you get started? Get your principals support. Create a Wiki for posting the assignment. – Create a Ning for comments and collaboration. – must be invited but you can create your own here

What 5 things did we choose? Underlaying- (Ning, Wiki, Avatars) Google- (Google Lit Trips, Google Sky, Google Math, Google Earth) Google Teacher Tube- (what did you search for, what did you find, how can you use it in the classroom) Teacher Tube- Blogs- (Create your own classroom,How can students use blogs in your classroom? Blogs District Links- Cool Tools, Science Tube--collection of district science classroom videos District Links- National Educational Technology Standards (NETS)

Was it Successful? Only 2 teachers did not participate. Every teacher had a blog. Lots of praises and comments. See comments on Ning for #4 Cool tools
