ULTRA LOCKER By: Aishu and Sydney THE SKITTLES

What is It? The Ultra Locker is a hybrid of an IPAD and a vending machine. The touch screen and the microphone parts of the locker is based off of the technology used in an IPAD. The mechanical arms and the technology that is used to grab things from your locker is based off of what is used in a vending machine.

How it works The Ultra Locker is very smart. First you use your fingers to type your combination on the touch screen. Then your locker will automatically open. On the inside there is a built in microphone that you speak into and say what you want from your locker. Then mechanical arms will take it out of your locker and give it to you. When you walk away the Ultra Locker closes by itself. It also has a motion detector so it won’t let anyone.

Purpose The Ultra Locker is a locker which helps organize ordinary lockers and quicken locker breaks. It makes finding things in your locker easier too. With its brand new hi-tech technology it amazing things.

Who benefits from it? The students of Mercer Middle School will benefit from our invention. It will help their lockers organize so they can be better students and get to class on time.

Why is it an Improvement? The Ultra Locker is an improvement because it helps keep their locker very organized, and the school will have more advanced technology. The mechanical arms will hand you anything that you need from your locker, even if you don’t know where it is.

What will change? The Locker area and the lockers themselves will change. The locker area will be more colorful, less crowded, and more efficient. The lockers will be very colorful, easier to use, and advanced in technology.

Other Things that the Ultra Locker can do: The Ultra Locker will decrease the amount of average things stolen from students lockers. If someone unauthorized breaks into the locker, an alarm will automatically go off. The sound and volume of the alarm can be changed from inside of the locker.

Where can the Ultra Locker Be Found? The Ultra Locker can be found in the locker room and certain classrooms such as all core subject classrooms. They can also be found in the cafeteria. Smaller versions of the Ultra Locker will be available in the gym locker area.
