Existing Product Analysis Controls The buttons are very big, easy for a child to press because of the large surface area Clearly spaced out from each button so it is not too confusing Each control button makes a different sound when pressed The picture symbol on the controls makes it clear to identify which button makes which specific sound. Picture of a key, makes an ignition sound when pressed Picture of a music note, it plays music when it is pressed Picture of a car driving, makes a racing car noise when it is pressed

Existing Product Analysis Forms (overhead view) One circle on top of another (side view) another circle on a circle (geometric shapes) Hemisphere on top of a circle Cylinder cuts through a geometric circle Handle is a squashed cone with a circular bottom. Has small raised up yellow circles on top A small swirl spiralling inside a circle The form of this children's toy is made up of many similar geometric shapes. They are simple and effective and not too complicated for young children to cope with. Easy grip Small for children to get their hands round

Existing Product Analysis Texture Raised up Creates a smooth bumpy texture Enables children to grip the object easily Children can explore the new texture easily The circular handle has raised nodules Has a smooth edge Easy for the target market to hold

Existing Product Analysis Speakers/sound output A simple designed speaker system. Safe for children under 3 as the holes are not too big to get fingers stuck into or get any liquids into the electronics. Electronics are mounted inside of the plastic circle mould. Safe from dampness Allows sound to come through the small holes

Existing Product Analysis Power and volume 25mm 60mm 53mm The battery holder is specifically designed to fit two AA batteries Easily protected for children Controls the volume Can be put onto three different volume levels or mute.
