Light rain obscures visibility. 2. Assess the Risks: Taxiway markings are less distinct, and accidentally getting lost and entering onto a runway is a possibility. 3. Analyze Risk Control Measures: You have no control over the weather, but you can control your taxi speed, and you can get help from the tower by asking for “progressive instructions” 4. Make Control Decisions: Slow down. Call the tower “ABQ tower, CAP3073, visibility is limited, I’ll need progressives” 5. Implement Risk Controls: Slow down to a safe speed. Carefully follow the towers taxi instructions. 6. Supervise and Review: Assess whether or not your new speed is slow enough, verify any doubts or uncertainty with the tower, independently verify you position at all times, and watch for other traffic.
