Mr. X is manufacturing Chairs and Tables. A Chair requires 3 labour hours and 5 units of material whereas each Table requires 5 labour hours and 8 units of material. If Mr. X plans to produce 15 Chairs and 5 Tables, how many labour hours will need to work and how much material will he require? Use Matrix algebra.
Matrix algebra Three persons buy cold drinks of different brands A, B, C. The first person buys 12 bottles of A, 5 bottles of B and 3 bottles of C. The second person buys 4 bottles of A, 6 bottles of B and 10 bottles of C. The third person buys 6 bottles of A, 7 bottles of B and 9 bottles of C. If each bottle of brand A cost tk.20, each bottle of brand B cost tk.25 and each bottle of brand C cost tk.30, then represent the information in the form of Matrix and calculate the total sum of money spent individually by the three persons for the purchase of cold drinks.
Matrix algebra A motor corporation has two types of factories each producing buses and trucks. The weekly production figures at each type of factory are as follows: Factory A Factory B Buses Trucks The corporation has 5 factories A and 7 factories B. Buses and trucks sell at the price of Tk and Tk respectively. Express in matrix form and hence evaluate: The total weekly production of buses and trucks. The total market value of vehicles produced each week.
Matrix algebra A manufacturer produces three products: P, Q and R which he sells in two markets. Annual sales volumes are indicated as follows: If unit sales prices of P, Q and R are $ 2.5, $1.25 and $1.5 respectively and the unit costs of P, Q and R are $ 1.8, $ 1.2 and $0.8 respectively, find his gross profit using matrix algebra. Matrix algebra A manufacturer produces three types of car A, B and C. To produce one car of type A, it requires 40 hours of labour, 100 units of material and 50 units of paint. To produce one car of type B, it requires 80 hours of labour, 150 units of material and 80 units of paint. To produce one car of type C, it requires 100 hours of labour, 250 units of material and 100 units of paint.
Matrix algebra If the labour cost Tk.50 per hour, material cost Tk.20 per unit and paint cost Tk.40 per unit, find the total cost for each type of car A, B, C by using matrix algebra. If the producer makes 100 of car A, 200 of car B and 300 of car C, what is the total cost of making them?
