 Causes you to feel full sooner and longer  Produces a slower rise of blood glucose levels - which aids in preventing and managing diabetes  Provides higher levels of fiber to benefit the digestive system

 Contains more vitamins, minerals, phytochemicals and antioxidants - lowering risks for sickness and disease.  Helps accomplish your health, fitness and energy goals.

 Add complex carbs such as whole grains, fruits, vegetables, etc. to each meal and/or snack  Read labels when shopping  Reduce simple carbs in your diet  Make wise choices when eating out
