Australian Ceramic Artist Research Assignment There are many Ceramic artists and styles of ceramic work. The breadth and depth is huge. For this assignment you are required to use the internet to research an artist of your choice. You will need to research carefully what the artist makes and how he or she makes it. You will need to answer a list of questions about your artist. If you are unable to find the answers you need about your artist you will need to change to a different artist. You will also be marked on your use of referencing. This is important because it is proof of your research but also is a requirement on all of your assignments in senior classes. You may use more than one reference for some questions and you will need to acknowledge this. You are welcome to use information from books as well. You will need to include: 1.What is the name of your artist? 2.Give some personal information about your artist such as sex, age where they live and where they studied. 3. How does your artist exhibit or sell their artworks? Do they sell at a studio, shops or galleries or do they hold exhibitions? Find out if they use a combination of these methods. Give some examples of your artists ceramic works and a price or value estimate if you can. 4. What kind of ceramic artworks does your artist make, describe in detail the themes that they use as inspiration for their artwork. 5.
