ADA Standards of Care in Diabetes 2014 Divided into 10 sections in Module 2. Review the sections of the updated guidelines as they relate to DSME. Section V. Diabetes Care & sections A-M are what pharmacists are expected to be able to educate a patient with diabetes on – not just medications! Section VI. Prevention & Management of Diabetes Complications reviews the ABCs of DM management, smoking cessation & both management of macro- & micro-vascular complications. Section X.
