Why study geography?  It is the study of the earth’s physical and cultural features.  There are 2 branches of geography  Physical (landforms and climate)  Human (culture in an environment)  It is impossible to understand history, international politics, world economy, religions, philosophy, or patterns of culture without studying the geography.

Why study geography?  Geography affects resources.  Geography shapes culture.  Geography influences history.
