Edexcel Citizenship Studies Students will take 2 exams and submit 2 pieces of course work Citizenship Today: 5CS01 (20%) Unit 1: 1hr Exam: Monday 11 th May Citizenship in Context: 5CS03 (20%) Unit 3: 1hr 15 minutes Exam: Thursday 14 th May Unit 2: Participating in Society (30%) Unit 4: The Campaign(30%)

Edexcel Citizenship Studies Students should try a varied approach their revision. As mentioned before there are numerous techniques such as: Revision cards Mind maps Creating a quiz and testing friends/family This book is available on the school website and includes all areas studied, and activities to complete inside.

What can you do? Ask them to explain to you one of the topic areas. Give your view and get them talking about it. The point of revision should not be to learnt everything from scratch even if they give the impression that it is. Help with the timing of a past question or a mind map. They will also see an end in sight which helps when revision seems like a mammoth task
