PLANTS AND ANIMALS By Cecilia Fragoso

Introduction The purpose of this lesson is that Special Education and Regular Education students as well learn about plants and animals. My name is Cecilia Fragoso, I am a Special Education Teacher K3 at Mains Elementary School in Calexico, CA.

What I expected of this experience I wanted to improve my ways of teaching my Special Education students using technology in order to give them new sources of knowledge and different approaches. Accomplishments as a result of participating in this project.

During the program I learned to use Internet as a resource for my teaching strategies and help my students with concrete examples. I learned to use Power Point for presentations. I learned to use a scanner and a digital camera.

Successes It is wonderful to see how a child discovers new things about his world with the help of Internet. To help them realize that they are part of the world too. Part of the ecosystem. Brief reflection on the successes of my lesson implementation written to other educators who might consider implementing my lesson in their classroom.

A summary of how things went during the program. Create a brief reflection on the shortcomings of my lesson implementation written to other educators who might consider implementing my lesson in their classroom.

The student Data slide(s) Include the charts and explanations you created during data analysis in Module 8.

Student Samples Slides with representing a Basic, Proficient and Advanced piece of work.
