Date of presentation 2 PROJECT IDEA Project name: The Investigation of electro-physical parameters, electron structure and mechanism of current transfer of metal-semiconductor contact structure Proposal outline: Will be investigated I-V, C–V and G/w–V characteristics of metal–semiconductor structures in a wide range voltage, temperature and test signal; characteristics the current-conduction mechanisms in metal-semiconductor contact; dielectric properties; ac- electrical conductivity, “inductive” properties. Project objectives: (outcomes, socio-economical impacts) To fabrication of new multifunctional devices, to improvement of technological modes of obtaining contact structures, to estimation of interrelation of properties of a material with parameters of devices, to identify: the influence of crystal structure of contacting materials, inhomogenity of metal-semiconductor contact interface, technology and metal film on characteristics of contact structures. Date of presentation 4 SKILLS OF THE PROPOSER Please describe your own skills, competences and expertise relevant to the project idea Participants of research team of the project have certain experience on theme of the project and appropriate publications on investigation of contact structures. The team, which will be work under the project, consists from specialists working with different problems of physics of semiconductors, metal-semiconductor contacts. Principal Investigator of the project (Afandiyeva I.M).) has advanced experience on investigation of metal-semiconductor contact. Intrinsic Merit: Realization of this project may lead to new approaches in understanding of the proceses in contact structures, to search of new effective materials for multifunctional devices. Utility: The project will allow us to develop the effective contact structures for multifunctional devices, to give the recommendation on creation of the effective conv erters.
