What are simple machines? A device that makes a physical task easier.

Great ancient structures such as the pyramids & great wall of china must have been established using simple machines. What type of simple machine could you identify in this picture?

Here are some examples of modern day machines Look carefully at each tool. Think about how each part moves and makes the other parts move as the tool does its job. Which elements of machines do you see in each gadget? Tools
