Peripheral devices- to accomplish the input, output, and storage functions. Ergonomic- means that it has been designed to fit the natural placement of your hands and should reduce the risk of repetitive-motion injuries.

Kilobyte- is 1024 bytes or approximately one thousands bytes.

Inactive windows- is another open window that you are not currently using.

RAM (Random access memory)- anything stored in RAM is lost when computer is shut off or if the power fails unexpectedly.

Smart art- instantly create visually rich and professional looking diagrams. Notes pages- which contain a miniature image of each slide plus any speaker notes you added in the Notes pane as well as any header and footer information.

Portable Network Graphics (PNG)- format Timing- the number of seconds a slide remains on the screen before advancing to the next one.

Transition- is a special effect that determines how a slide appears as it enters and leaves the screen. Animation scheme- such as Appear, Fade, Fly in, Peek in, or Rise up or create a Custom animation from dozens of choices.

Speaker Notes- contain information such as key points up can reference during the presentation. Theme- applies a coordinated set of colors, fonts, and effects to your entire themes feature.

Footer- is text that appears in the bottom margin of a page. Header- is text that appears in the top margin of a page.

Footnote- is a note or citation that appears at the bottom of the document page.
