Education Code Section provides an exemption of the requirement to pass the CAHSEE for students with disabilities scheduled to receive a diploma on or before December 31, 2007 if several conditions are met. Education Code Section (Intensive Instruction and Services Grant): –$72.4 million statewide compared to $69.5 million last year. –All LEAs that apply will receive funding. –LEAs will receive up to $520 for each grade 12 student who has not passed one or both parts of the CAHSEE. –Any remaining funds will be distributed to LEAs for grade 11 students.
