Meskerem Goshime Database Design Capstone Project

ABC Church bookstore is a bookstore that serves a church community and run by volunteers using paper based system. The purpose of this database is to provide an efficient system, so that the work can be handled with few volunteers, and to increase accuracy. The bookstore holds items for sale as well as items for lending. The major functions that the database performs are the following:  Keep track of items for sale, items sold and items in stock.  Keep track of books for lending, those lent out with borrower information and books returned.  Keep track of value of deliveries by each supplier, payments made to each suppliers and supplier balance.  Record all suppliers and their contact information.  Record members borrowing materials.

 This is a form where book sale is registered. It also provides buttons to check price of that specific book and to browse all books for sale with their quantity on hand and price.

 This report summarizes value of all deliveries made by each supplier, all payments made to each supplier and the supplier’s balance.
