Presentation transcript:

The Audience The audience’s view on art is changing rapidly due to the mass effect of technology.

The World The world is changing due to technology and the environment Sexes and races are treated like evenly

The World and the Artist The artist was influenced by animations where the characters were round and curvy. He likes to listen to music and watch anime. Such as One Piece, Bleach and Naruto

The Artist and the Audience The artists teaches people that it doesn't matter on the age you are, it matters on how good the animation is. A good animation is achieved with imagination and determination The artist influences other artists to make their own animation for themselves.

The Audience and The World The world shapes us constantly through media and technology, such as posters, music, internet, etc. People change the world by influencing other people. e.g. if the first hand drawing animation wasn’t invented there would be no digital animation today.

The World and The Artist Nickelodeon’s Jimmy Timmy Power Hour inspired Nathan to create 2d drawings and make it into a 3d object.

The World and The Artwork In Adam Elliot’s films such as Harvie Krumpet, he makes his figures talk. The artist uses this idea in his own animation. The Runaway Ball.

The Artist and The Artwork The Artist chose a runaway ball and his shifting character because it was an idea that he hasn’t seen used often.

Subjective Frame The voice of the character was made to be really boring, as if nothing special happened to him before. This shows how the character talks about his problems.

Cultural Frame The film has a theme of AFL players. AFL is an enjoyable sport to a wide range of people. E.g. AFL players, Kids

Structural Frame The artist uses a camera for the pictures whiteboard and modeling clay for the story and character and a computer for editing. The artist took a picture and moved the figure a bit and then took another picture and kept going. One of the artist’s friends helped him with the real footage

Post-Modern Frame The artwork challenges the mainstream by using two different types of media in the same film, animation and real footage.
