What’s Ahead for 2015 Renovations to Sneads HS completed next week, Jan Changes-Provisions to the 2010 HHFKA allowing for: Freeze on Sodium reduction requirements set to be put in place this month Exemptions on whole grain requirements to school districts struggling financially effective this month No imports of Chicken from China for use in school lunch We will continue to maintain Fruit and Vegetable Offerings We will continue to produce and serve healthier selections We started our Wellness initiatives for Staff and Faculty Tons of Fun-We will be getting a grant from the state for Wellness- about $10,000 March 6, Ignite the Light, 5K run/walk. We will provide food for fundraising efforts March 23-25, Bicycle Event at ECC, serving food for riders and observers
