  Competitive book club that meets during student lunch times and/or after school twice/month  Quiz-bowl type of atmosphere with questions  Students choose from JEBOB list  JEBOB list has books above and on each grade level What?

  2 nd /3 rd graders at Vienna that are VORACIOUS readers that genuinely love to read!  Independent AVID readers  Students choose books off respective JEBOB lists  Read each book 2-3 times to become an expert Who?

  Students commit to reading 4+ books off their lists  Students attend practices  Students answer questions about books off list  Students become “experts” by reading each book 2-3 times  All questions in form of: “In what book did……”  Answers are always book title and book author  Knows books inside and out (including quotes!) How?

  Practice during lunch in the library  Practice twice/month after school on Wednesdays or Thursdays  Year-end competition When?
