Pressure in weather BEGIN

What is atmospheric pressure? Atmospheric pressure is layers of air that is distributed across the world. However it is not always even. It can be thicker in one place and thinner in another.

What are low pressure areas? Low pressure is a meteorological word for low atmospheric pressure compared to the rest of the area. Atmospheric pressure is layers of air that is distributed across the world. However it is not always even.

Define: Meteorological Meteorology is the scientific study of the atmosphere (the Earth's air) that focuses on how weather works and forecasting (saying what is expected to happen) the weather.
