What... Like? What....like? means ‘describe somebody or something. Tell me about them. I don’t know anything about them.’ Like in this question is a preposition not a verb: “what’s Jim like?” “He’s intelligent and kind, and he has got lovely blue eyes.” In the following like is verb:( ask about preference) What does Jim like? He likes cars and tennis How is your father? He is fine. ( ask about health)

Examples What is your sister like? She is tall and kind. What does your sister like? She likes coffee.

Comparative and superlative adjectives Uses 1- we use comparatives to compare one thing, person, or action with another. She is( much )taller than me. London is( much) more expensive than Rome. 2- we use superlatives to compare something or somebody with the whole group. She is the tallest in the class. It is the most expensive hotel in the world.

Comparative and superlative adjectives Uses 3- As..... As shows that something is the same or equal. Jim is as tall as peter. I am as worried as you are. 4- Not as/so....as shows that something is not the same or equal. She is not as tall as her mother. My car was not so expensive as yours.
