I don’t know anything about them.’ Like in this question is a preposition not a verb: “what’s Jim like?” “He’s intelligent and kind, and he has got lovely blue eyes.” In the following like is verb:( ask about preference) What does Jim like? Comparative and superlative adjectives Uses 1- we use comparatives to compare one thing, person, or action with another. She is( much )taller than me. London is( much) more expensive than Rome. 2- we use superlatives to compare something or somebody with the whole group. She is the tallest in the class. It is the most expensive hotel in the world.
