Cork Conference, 20 th April Mandate:  Communication channel between overall EGEE management and ALL partners (signatories of the contract)  Delegation of executive authority to EGEE federations  The CB is documented in the Consortium Agreement (CA) as follows: The Collaboration Board shall be composed of a senior representative of each party. The parties may appoint a proxy. The Collaboration Board shall meet at least twice a year at the same time as the Project Conference. The Collaboration Board shall take note of the co-ordinator's report concerning the scientific and administrative implementation of the project and discuss any matters in relation thereto. The Collaboration Board may issue, at a simple majority of its members present and voting, recommendations on the scientific direction or the administrative management of the project to be taken into account by the co-ordinator, the PEB and PMB. Cork Conference, 20 th April Financial and Administrative Matters The Consortium Agreement was signed by CERN after receipt of all signature pages on March 23rd 2004 The Technical Annex is on version 34 and amendments will be proposed to the EU after the conference The contract is with the EU for signature. Expected date: April 19th All A- forms have been received from partners.

Cork Conference, 20 th April Financial and Administrative Matters Timesheets: each person participating in the project must provide a timesheet on a monthly basis. The timesheet must report the number of hours worked in which task of which activity. This timesheet must be approved by the local management and submitted to the project office for validation by the PEB. A template will be provided and made available on the project website. Cost claims: these must be consistent with the timesheets. Quarterly advance payments will be dependent on the approval of cost claims by the PO. An electronic tool is being developed to help the reporting process. Further information will be provided All QR and cost claim submission timelines for the first quarter are detailed on the next slide. Templates will be put on the web and links distributed after the conference.
