44 States + DC Have Adopted the Common Core State Standards

What is the Assessment Plan? The MCAS Plan?

In 2011 and 2012, the grade 10 MCAS mathematics tests will assess students on the MA 2000/2004 mathematics framework.

HOWEVER…you need to be aware of upcoming the paradigm shift……

Starting in 2015……the school year and composition of the high school high stakes testing is completely up in the air.

Massachusetts has signed onto PARCC.

The only PARCC high school exam planned for 2015 and beyond is in grade 11 and is heavy on Algebra 2 & Statistics (“college readiness”).

HOWEVER in Massachusetts…The transition plan for the grade 10 MCAS mathematics test is under development and will be released as soon as it is completed.
