EARLY CHILDHOOD  Member of the jazz band.  Majorly influenced by the band Suicide  Learned to play piano

EDUCATION  Ben met Andrew VanWyngarden at Wesleyan University.  Ran the music venue in the house.

BAND FORMATION o Ben and Andrew began taking private lessons under the instruction of composer Ron Kuivila.

LANDING A RECORD  Ben and Andrew released MGMT's first electro-rock EP (extended play) Time to Pretend in 2005.

EXPANDING THE GROUP NEW Members  Mathew Asti (bass)  Will Berman (drums)  James Richardson (drums/guitar).

2008:A PROMISING YEAR  As their career took off, MGMT was able to participate in many music events.

SECOND ALBUM MGMT released their second album Congratulations in 2010.

WHERE IS MGMT TODAY?  MGMT started its South American this October and their music can be heard in movies and commercials.
