For centuries, astronomers learned about the sky by studying the light coming from astronomical objects, first by simply looking at the objects, and later.
They seem to form a picture in the sky. People use them to find their way around the sky like someone using objects to get from place to place.

By: Bear Elder and Paul Jones THE HUBBLE SPACE TELESCOPE

WHEN AND WHY IT WAS CREATED It was launched in April and built in the 70’s and 80’s. The purpose of the telescope is and was to see enhanced views and images of deep space where earth telescopes were blocked by the atmosphere the Hubble Telescope would not be.

PROBLEMS AND DEVELOPMENTS Some problems with the Hubble Space Telescope was a mirror that wasn’t fully polished and set to the right amounts. And every now and then they had to replace broken equipment. Developments include the installation of new equipment and new resolution with the addition of the mirrors added to fix the old one. With these new advancements we have been able to see even farther than before.

DISCOVERIES ATTRIBUTED TO THE HUBBLE The Hubble discovered a tiny speck of sky that revealed a zoo of about 3,000 galaxies with some being as old as 10 billion years. The Hubble also discovered that galaxies tend to have massive black holes in the middle of them.

HOW IT WORKS
