Track and Comment on Proposed OEHHA Risk Assessment Guideline Update  Significant changes statewide  Overall risks increase approximately 2 to 3 times  Communication with the public will be critical  Impacts permitting, AB2588, HRA’s, and risk management thresholds

AB 8 – Renews Moyer/AB923 to 1/1/ Near term changes made through CAPCOA/ARB Tactical Group Long term legislative changes now need to be considered: o GHG o Leveraging o Additional Project Categories o Cost Effectiveness Coordinate Comments on Future Changes of the Carl Moyer Program

Coordinate Comments on AB 32 Scoping Plan  Hosted Regional Workshop to Facilitate Local Input  Coordinate with State Agencies (ARB, OPR)  Work with CAPCOA to write Update Section on Local Governments

Conduct Workshops on Personal Monitoring  Set for November 19, 2014 in Oakland and November 21, 2014 in Diamond Bar  Objective discussion of the latest technologies for sensors  Monitoring objectives  Analysis of the quality of the data generated from sensors  Air Districts role to educate the public

Continue Development of CAPCOA’s GHG Exchange  Develop New Protocols  Compost Application on Grazed Rangelands  Biochar  Rice Cultivation  Residential Energy Efficiency  Develop Local Projects  Identify local project opportunities  Work with protocols that have local relevance - Urban Forestry (revised)  Help local project developers follow protocols and use the Rx

Launch of CAPCOA Video  Designed to explain who/what is an Air District  5 to 6 minutes in length  Directed to general audience / elected officials
