Chemistry Fundamentals Overview

What is Chemistry anyway?  Chemistry is really the study of everything and everyone.  It is an important subject to learn because…  This course covers the fundamentals because…  There’s more to it than ‘just’ science.  Chemistry knowledge helps with other subjects too.

Course Format  2 semesters~just like high school  5 units each semester:  1 st semester lessons 1-30  2 nd semester lessons  6 lessons in each unit  Outside web resources for labs  Whiteboard for problems

What else do you need?  You can use any Chemistry text [your own or from the library]  Good virtual textbooks & resources:    Calculator  Printer and paper
