Where they live The river otter lives in a wet rocky land.they like to live in the water.but river otters are mammals so they breath air so that means they live on water and land in and on there habitat there is rocks and plants and grass but when they want to go on land there is dirt mud and even snow the river otter mostly lives near rivers Page 1

Its body The river otters structures are made to help him live. The otter uses its belly to slide down hills so it can get its food. The river otter uses its claws to grab its food and tear it so its all ready to eat. And he also has something so he doesn't get soaked when he swims his fur and nose are both water proof. And his feet are webbed so its easier to swim. Page 2

Its behavior The river otter has very few functions but one of his best functions is when he catches his fish he almost pounces on his prey another function is that he cracks his food on his belly. Page 3

Endangered River otters are endangered because people are trying to kill them for there fur also there habitats are being polluted when river otters habitats are polluted they are now not used to there surroundings. That’s why river otters are endangered Page 3
