The Game

Federal Law Harassment and Discrimination California Law Prevention Protected Categories

This law prohibits discrimination in employment because of race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

Organizations are strictly held liable for sexual harassment by these.

This law prohibits discrimination against veterans and military.

This law, passed by Congress in 1990 protected 43 million people from employment discrimination based on their disability. The EEOC clarified by law that sexual harassment is a form of sex discrimination and it defines it.

This law protected all men, regardless of race, contractual rights (mostly pertaining to property rights).

Talking about other people.

Assuming someone cannot perform a job because they are a woman.

This mode of transferring inappropriate jokes is often not realized as harassment and discrimination but acts as an excellent source of written evidence when a claim of harassment or discrimination is made.

A supervisor implies that if an employee has sex with them that their opportunity for advancement is greater.

An organization has allowed dirty jokes, foul language and sexual innuendos.

Title VII included these protected categories: race, color, religion, national origin and _________.
