THE PURPOSE OF THIS COURSE IS TO SUPPORT THE STUDENT IN LEARNING TO HOW TO USE A SMART PHONE. (SUPPORT WILL BE PROVIDED FOR USING IPHONES) SMART PHONES Presented by John Mudie, Ph.D., and Stephanie Muhammad.

WEBSITE NAME AND USEAGE You can get to the class website by typing the address into the address bar of Internet Explorer and then pressing the Enter key on your keyboard. The current day's classes are listed on front page. Click the Phone Calls entry if its there. If its not there then click on Phones on the main page. Then select Smart Phones Curriculum and click on it's entry. Find the entry for Phone Calls and click on it to get to this page. Please remember that you can always ask the Computer Lab Tech to help you get to this page

There is also a book on iPhones for Dummies in the lab.. A way of getting help is to go into Google and put in key words describing your problem and see what Google can find in the way of solutions to your problem which most probably other people have experienced before you.Google

If necessary, press the Dialpad icon Type in your number Touch the handset icon to place the call Talk. Touch the red End Call icon to end the call.

TURN OFF YOUR PHONE See page of Android Phones for Dummies Hold down the Power/Lock key until a display appears You usually have various options. Use the airplane mode when you are in an airplane. Click and hold the Power Off option. The phone will turn off. Remember to re-charge it!
