*How does fashion change peoples self esteem? *Why is fashion important? *How do we know to be updated with fashion?

 “ Fashion affects the mind and influences it, we are drawing attention to things that used to be personal.”Valery Solis, Personal interview. 8 April, 2011  What Solis is referring to is that now we are focusing on showing the most we can so we can get others attention.  Ex. Now today most females want to look more attractive by showing more personal body. However some females don’t have the shape they'd like to have so that’s when low self esteem starts to play a role in fashion because they don’t know how deal with fashion.  Focusing on showing more personal body matters because people are not using their own style, they are just trying to dress evocative to get others attention and that is not the point the point is dressing using our style that makes us feel comfortable. Fashion is a way of making us feel comfortable in life.

 “We are more obsessed with our appearance than we like to admit.”  Patricia Hernandez. Personal interview. 9April,  This means peoples self - esteem is changing because they are so obsessed with their appearance.  This matters because people can even get sick because they are obsessed with their appearance that’s what’s causing low self-esteem to people.

Most females worry for showing more than caring how comfortable they feel. Most females today focus now on things that used to be personal!

 “Attractive applicants have a better chance of getting jobs, and of receiving higher salaries.” Vox Rationis. “Mirror, Mirror.” Social Issues Research Centre. Kate Fox, 1997.Web.11 April,2011.  Rationis believes that the better you look at a job or a job interview. The higher your chances are being accepted. Its important for people to know the difference from a job clothing and a party clothing.  Being nice professionally presented at a job matters because it gives you the opportunity of receiving a higher salary.

 “To say in the least, fashion is important in the world-both traditionally and in a modern way. Everywhere around the world people show their own cultural identity through fashion. To name a few, there are the Dutch, French, English, Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, African, Muslim, Spanish, Russian, Mongolian, Canadian, and American.”. Xanthia, Melissa, Shelly, Emily, and Vritti. “Speak, Listen, and Learn Uniting Students Around the World.”Oracle Think Quest Education Foundation April,  Xanthia, Melissa, Shelly, Emily, and Vritti believe that fashion is a form of representing our own cultural identity.  Ex: An example can be Mexico. Their most common cultural identity is charros/charras.  Fashion, being a form of representing our own cultural identity matters because it’s showing who we are and it brings some cultural backgrounds.

 “ Taking some time to read magazines, watch television, and what people are wearing out there.” Martha Casas. Personal interview. 8 April,  Casas believes that a way we can stay up to date with fashion is by being informed about what's going around in our society. Being up to date with fashion matters because we are giving our selves more ideas on how to dress. Some people aren't up to date with fashion and its okay. But being up to date with fashion is just an option its not something that we have to follow. fashionfashion

This means that it can be a great idea if we take a day to go look for garments that we usually don't use. Before we buy them we should first check our chores to see if we have any type of garments that can combine to some type of style. This matters because its important to try to spend time for ourselves by trying to look better. I believe that fashion can be helpful but at the same time it can be fun.
