Andrea Valeria Sagastume Andrea is a very intelligent, outstanding girl. She is also very sweet. She is a very good public speaker and also a natural leader. She is part of the folk dance group and she is working really hard, because we will have our year competition on August 29 with 15 district schools. She is good in Art and PE, but in general she does very well in all classes even if the grades are not as high.

Tesla Yamileth Mendoza Cruz Tesla is good student especially in Art, PE and Tecnology. She is a very sweet girl. Tesla is one of the members of the folk dance group and she is working hard, because we will have a competition on August 29 with 15 district schools.

Bryan Alfredo Escalante Martínez Bryan is a new student coming to us only three weeks ago. He is excellent student. He has not been evaluated during the second quarter yet. He is a very educated and polite boy. He has Jociangel, an older brother. He is very grateful for this opportunity because at his home he had to work in order to go to the school because he did not have money to pay for the bus to get school or eat. He said that he feels safe and happy in EH. His academic level, for fifth grade, is not bad.

Gerardo Adolfo Arguijo Sevilla Gerardo is a good student. He came this year with some troubles, because he had to take care of his younger sister (Juliana who is in the first grade at EH) and his younger brother Angel Pastor (second grade at EH). For several years he was like a father- he took them to the school everyday, he cooked for them and helped them with their classes because his mom was working and during night he was attending the school. Now that he is with us in fifth grade, he has some difficulties at the school, but he is receiving extra help and he is improving. He is very mature for his age. He is a very grateful boy and everyday he is working hard.

Grevil José López Ortíz Grevil is a good student. His favorite classes are Art, PE and Computer. In the first quarter he did a good job, but in the second quarter he was having some problems with his assignments at school and got low averages. He is starting his third quarter with a different attitude- very positive. Grevil is a very respectful, polite and happy boy.

Guillermo José Alvarenga Alvarenga He is a very good student. His favorite classes are Science, PE, Computer and also he is good in Math even do he did not show the best grades. Guillermo is a very polite, quite and respectful boy. He plays marimba. He is in bakery and he can make bread, cake and other items.

Jairo Estuardo Sagastume Martínez He is very intelligent. Even though his averages are down a little, it is because he does not have patience. He becomes frustated when he can not do things correctly the first time. When something is wrong he will not like to try again. He is very responsible. He likes to read. He is a very good folk dancer. He is in the second level in the pastry shop, and he can make bread, cake and other items.

Jatniel Natanael Martínez Gonzales He is very intelligent. His problem is that he is not mature- for him all time is time to play. However he is a very good reader. He is working with a special plan in Math and Spanish writing. Also, we are working on a development plan for him in other areas like managing emotions, self steem, concentration etc.

Jefferson Noé Fiallos Barrientos He is one of the best student in his class no matter how many problems he was having during his first and second quarter (his mom who left him since he was four years old and now she appears as if nothing happened). Jefferson was not ready to meet her but she did not care. Actually Jefferson is receiving some help with spychology as well his mom to see how they can communicate again. With all of this I only can say that he is absolutely incredible. He is one of the best in the pastry shop, he can make bread, cake and other delicious items. He is one of the best readers! He likes to read a lot

Josué Isaías Burgos Gutiérrez Josue is very good, intelligent, responsible, and organized in his homework. He has a lot of talent in painting. He is an amazing boy. He creates beautiful paintings. He is in the pastry shop and he is absolutely excellent. He is very sweet and polite.

He is in the pastry shop and he is very good.

When someone finishes the education to be a teacher he or she has so many tools and pedagogic strategies to teach, however all those tools are not enough without having a heart! My experience here at El Hogar has made me to complete my career as a teacher. I have been here 14 years where I have had the opportunity to achieve my heart goal of my career which is to be a father, a friend and a counselor. This project has taught me that I not only teach here but I am also being used by God to transform the lives of many children. My best achievement has been to grow up and learn from the kinds how to be a human being everyday. At the end, this place has taught, formed and educated me. Heyser Valenzuela (Sixth grade)
